Grade 4 ‘Super-Chef Family’ Recipe Contest

To strengthen the involvement of parents, the ‘Super-Chef Family Recipe Contest’ was organised, encouraging Grade 4 pupils and their parents to participate in a fun, educational competition that promotes healthy eating and family bonding.

Grade 4 ‘Quest for Happier and Healthier Kids’

This activity, launched in 2024, is a joint initiative between Nestlé, the Ministry of Education and Human Resource, Mauritius Institute of Education and Casela Nature Parks.  It aims at consolidating key nutrition topics in the Grade 4 Health and Physical Education curriculum as well as promoting physical activity and more sustainable lifestyle choices through fun and engaging activities.

Grade 5 ‘Kite Flying’ Contest

The Kite Flying Competition was designed to bring children, parents, and schools together in a fun, educational activity that promotes healthy habits. The 2019 contest had the theme ‘Fruits and Vegetables for a Healthy Living’, with kites made from eco-friendly materials, aligning with the programme’s goal of fostering sustainable behaviours.

Grade 5 ‘Plogging’ Activity

The ‘Plogging’ activity was conducted with Grade 5 pupils from selected schools to raise awareness about the need to reduce solid waste, keep our environment clean and to promote physical activity.
