Programme Activities & Resources

A diverse range of educational resources and activities (co-curricular and extra-curricular) have been created for students, parents, and educators, aligned with the programme’s goals. The development process involved a collaborative and participative approach, ensuring that the resources and activities are both relevant and effective for the target audience.

Accessing Digital Resources

Activity Books for Pupils and Parents of Grades 2, 3, 4, and 5

The Pupil’s Activity Books fosters collaboration between teachers, pupils, and parents, encouraging active parental involvement in children’s learning and promoting healthy and sustainable habits.

The book also provides practical tips for both parents and the wider community to promote a healthy nation and planet.

For the 2025 edition of the Healthier Kids Programme, web-based interactive digital versions of the Pupil’s Activity Books have been developed. These are freely accessible to pupils of Grades 2 to 5, their parents, and HEP Primary School Educators. They can be accessed anytime and anywhere, supporting a flexible learning environment.

The digital transition aligns with the programme’s sustainability goals by reducing the carbon footprint through eliminating physical production and distribution.

The digital books include interactive features such as instant feedback systems, which help pupils learn from their mistakes and track their progress in real-time.

Teacher’s Guide for Grades 2, 3, 4, and 5

The Teacher’s Guide offers structured lesson plans that align with the Health and Physical Education (HPE) curriculum, as well as the Arts and Values & Citizenship Education (VACE) curriculum. The activities within the guide are integrated, interdisciplinary, and often play-based, making learning both fun and meaningful. This approach fosters a holistic education, empowering students to develop habits that will keep both future generations and the planet healthy.
