The African Deans of Education Forum is a member and focal point of the UNESCO Teacher Task Force.
The African Deans of Education Forum has frequently contributed to various Policy Dialogue Forums by the UNESCO Teacher Task Force.
The activities and priorities of ADEF is guided by a Steering Committee in collaboration with a Chair that is nominated from within the Steering Committee.
ADEF is an independent, self-propelled forum that bring together critical voices in education in, for and by African scholars and leaders.
ADEF members include current and former deans of Education in Africa.
ADEF supports the principles of language inclusivity and regional representation.
