The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Primary programme has been developed to respond to the contextual needs of the primary school education sector of the Republic of Mauritius in the 21st Century. It has been designed by drawing upon the competencies developed by Educators through previously completed Primary Education Certificate and relevant Diploma programmes. The two-year part-time programme, corresponding to Level 7 of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF), consists of compulsory and elective modules amounting to 180 CATS points.
