Phase 2 – January 2025 – December 2025 (completed)
Implementation calendar as per the Action Plan for Phase 2:
- February 2025: Training of 138 educators (Mauritius – 114 educators & Rodrigues – 24educators)
- February -October 2025: Learning Circles with the educators
- February – September 2025: School implementation in 38 colleges in Mauritius + 08 colleges in Rodrigues. Classroom observation conducted in all schools.
- February – July 2025: Online ‘Classroom Meet-Ups’ between classes in Mauritius and the other participating countries
- July – September 2025: Development of the ‘Port Louis Cultural Field Trip Pack’ for educators which includes background information, pre-visit, during the visit and post-visit activities for 24 cultural and historical sites in Port-Louis.
- February 2026: Award Ceremony for the participating schools in Mauritius was organised at the MIE. The schools received a souvenir shield.
- March 2026: Submission of the Monitoring and Evaluation of Learning (MEL) Report of Phase 2 to Arigatou International.
