New campus

The Mauritius Institute of Education has initiated steps to build a new campus within the Education and Health Hub at Côte d’Or. Landscope Mauritius has provided the land, and the construction work is expected to start in July 2022 and be completed in 2023.
	The lease was signed on January 10, 2022, by Ram Prakash Ramlugun (Chairman of the Board of Directors), Prof. (Dr) Vassen Naëck (Acting Director of MIE) and Naila Hanoomanjee (CEO of Landscope Mauritius). This new facility, covering 27,000 square meters, should eventually accommodate 5,000 students.
