Foundation Course in Special Education (FCSEN) – PT

Foundation course in Special Education is a 45-hour non-award course for personnel from any cadres working with children having special educational needs. The main objectives of this course are to develop required competencies in students to understand Special Education, identify various educational needs of children and respond to the identified needs by developing IEPs and applying appropriate classroom management strategies. The course comprises of 3 theory and 9 hours of hands-on training. The classes for the module are run during the school holidays over a period of 1 year.
