The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed Part time) with Honours (2 years) is a professional development programme for in-service educators of the secondary sector. The course is offered on a part-time basis with a degree of flexibility and convenience to educators who are holders of Teacher’s Diploma Secondary and have acquired 216 Credit Accumulated Transfer Scheme (CATS) points offered at NQF levels 7 and 8. The programme is designed to support and prepare educators to upgrade their professional skills to meet the emerging challenges in the teaching profession. It offers opportunities for in-service educators to experience both face-to-face interactions and online classes. The programme has 144 Credit Accumulated Transfer Scheme (CATS) points and is structured around three components:

- Practitioner Research
