6. Advanced Certificate in Education (ACE) PT
The Advanced Certificate in Education (ACE) programme endeavours to empower practising primary school educators who are holders of a Teacher’s Certificate Primary, thus enabling them to join a Teacher’s Diploma Primary. This programme has been designed based on three driving axes, namely knowledge, skills, and attitudes enabling students to actively engage in reflexive practices, to become responsive to the changing needs in the educational landscape. It provides students with the opportunity to engage with a wide array of learning opportunities to continually upgrade their existing knowledge and skills and at generating new understanding to further enhance learning and teaching efficacy. The ACE programme, which consists of 18 credits, spreads over one year of two semesters.
