2 keynotes, one on shaping the future of education system focusing on competency-based education, technology integration teaching and learning including use of AI, while the other one on critical thinking in teaching learning. The oral presentations showcased interesting insights in museum as resource for learning, analysis of textbooks related to CCE, theoretical and conceptual frames adopted in the research process, interactive materials for EE in the context of ESD.
The question of integrating and responding to social values and cultural variations were also the focus of the session and the discussion led to the concept of emotional intelligence as a focus of curriculum at school and teacher education. Promoting reading culture as a means to ignite critical mind was another key aspect.
